General Description

Christie Campground is part of the Eagle Lake Recreation Area. Firewood is for sale at the campgrounds. All restrooms at Eagle Lake have flush toilets and electricity for razors, blowdryers, etc. All sites include a picnic table, fire ring and grill, and limited parking. The Eagle Lake Marina is close to all campgrounds at Eagle Lake (within 5 miles) and provides boat rentals and slips, hot showers, laundry, and a convenience store. Elevation is approximately 5100 feet. Please call for information from November thru April (530)257-6952 and from May thru October (530)825-3212. Year Round Fax: (530)257-6952.

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 night minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 night minimum stay on holiday weekends. Christie Campground has 43 additional campsites that are available on a first come - first served basis while the campground is open. Occupy site within 24 hours or forfeit. Holder of Golden Age/Access Card must be present. Extra vehicle fee of $5.00 per night per motorized vehicle over two in a single family site and over four in a small group site. No refunds for bad weather. Pets must be leashed. Quiet hours are 10pm-6am. No ATV's or ORV's can be operated in the campground. Winter phone # for the campground is (530)257-6952.

Directions: From Susanville, take Highway 36 for 2 miles west to County Road A-1. Turn and go 14 miles to the Eagle Lake Recreation Area and 3 miles further to Christie Campground.
