General Description

All sites have paved spurs, picnic tables, and fire rings. The nearest gas and phone are 25 miles away. Campground has vault toilets and piped-in water. The campground is within walking distance of the store and the lake. Popular activities include 10 Interpretive Programs, a Children's Fishing Derby, and Smokey Bear's Birthday Party.

Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance.

Site reserved must be site occupied.

An extra vehicle fee of $4 each (over 2) will be collected at the campground.


From Oroville, take Hwy 70 east, 72 miles to Hwy 89. Turn left and go 8 miles. Turn right on Rd A22 and go 5 miles through Taylorsville. Continue 20 miles to Antelope Lake. Follow signs to campground.

From Janesville, turn west on Rd 208 for 4 miles. Turn right on Rd 28N1 for 9 miles, then turn right on Rd 28N03 for 2 miles. Follow signs to the campground.
