General Description

The Bull Run Trail begins at the end of the Cow Creek Road, 1.25 mile north of Greenhorn Summit on Forest Highway 90. Four-wheel drive is required for the last 0.5 mile of the road. The trail descends Cow Creek and to Bull Run Creek, turns upstream and climbs gently 1.5 mile into Bull Run Basin. A moderate climb up a ridge ends at road 24S35. Pine and oak line the creek with brushy slopes above. There is trout fishing in the creek, but it is not stocked.

Directions from Wofford Heights: Travel west on Highway 155 for about 5 miles to FS 25S16 and then to Cow Creek Road.
