General Description

The Dorabelle Picnic Ground is on Shaver Lake along with three other campgrounds. This area is very popular due to its easy accessibility. The picnic ground, which is 5,200 feet in elevation, has toilets and potable water available. There are a total of 20 sites at this picnic ground. Swimming is a short distance away in Shaver Lake.

Directions from Shaver Lake: The picnic ground is within walking distance to the town of Shaver and a short hike to the beach.

Normally Open: Spring through Fall .
