General Description

Barker Creek is located approximately 3 miles south east of Barker Pass. This creek has numerous small brook trout, particularly in the meadows reaches.

Directions from Truckee: Travel south on Hwy. #89, past Tahoe City. Turn right onto Primary Forest Route #3 and travel for approximately 5.5 miles. At Barker Pass, park and walk the OHV trail to the Creek. The Creek is approximately 3 miles southwest of the pass.

Normally Open: Year-round .
