General Description

Echo Trail #3309 is a more difficult 2.6 mile hike at an elevation of 1,700 feet. This trail connects to the O'Leary Trail #3321 and Eat Fore Trail #3308.

Directions from Blue River: Travel east on Hwy. #126 for 4 miles and turn right onto Rd. 19 (Aufderheide Forest Drive) and continue for 3 miles to Cougar Dam. At the dam turn left onto Rd. 1993 for 2.8 miles to the East Fork Trailhead.

Normally Open: Year-round (NOTE: The recommended season is early Spring to late Fall.) .

East Fork Trail - The East Fork Trail (#3308) is a difficult 5.9 mile hike. This trail goes along the East Fork of the McKenzie River and through dense stands of Douglas-fir.

O'Leary Mountain Trail - O'Leary Mountain Trail #3321 is a more to most difficult 9.1 mile hike at an elevation of 2,400 feet. Hikers are afforded excellent views of the McKenzie Balley , Three Sisters Peaks and Cougar Reservoir.
