Cabin is equipped with wooden bunks, table, benches, propane stove for heat and an outhouse. It does not have mattresses or cooking utensils. Cabin users should bring their own sleeping bags, pads, cook stoves, cooking gear and food.
Reservations are restricted to two consecutive nights per stay.
Cabin cannot be used for commercial use.
The person holding the reservation for this cabin must be at least 18 years of age.
There are NO discounts for Golden Age or Golden Passports for Alaska cabin rentals.
You may reserve this cabin on the day of arrival, or up to 180 days in advance. Occasionally poor weather can result in extended stays, and cabin users should be prepared for this. This cabin is open to the public as a warming shelter daily from 10 am - 5 pm. All garbage and food must be packed out.
Thirteen miles northwest of Juneau, Alaska.
Hiking access only.
Access by 3 1/2 mile trail at mile marker 12.3 Glacier Highway.
