16'x16' A-frame cabin that sleeps 8 people. A large deck extends across the front of the cabin. This A-frame cabin is equipped with sleeping loft, wooden bunks, table, benches, woodstove for heat, and outhouse. It has no mattresses or cooking utensils. Cabin users should bring sleeping bags, pads, cookstove, cooking gear, and food. Mooring buoy for boat anchorage is available to cabin users or general forest users, whichever comes first For boat or air charters, contact the Sitka Convention and Visitors Bureau at 907-747-5940 or www.Sitka.org. Sleeping loft is accessed by a ladder. There are NO discounts for Golden Age and Golden Passports for Alaska cabin rentals. The person holding the reservation must be 18 and must be a member of the party using the cabin. Reservations are restricted to a maximum stay of 7 consecutive nights per party for any one reservation May 1 - September 30 and a maximum stay of 10 consecutive nights per party October 1 - April 30. All garbage and food must be packed out.

Directions: Accessible year round, weather permitting. Located 22 miles southeast of Sitka, north of West Crawfish Inlet, just outside the South Baranof Wilderness Area on the southwest side of Baranof Island.
