The Orr Interpretive Trail leads visitors .6 miles around the Table Mesa immediately west of the NCAR facility. Many interpretive panels describe the weather, climate and topography of the region. The surface of this trail is graded and accessible for wheelchairs and strollers.

Directions from Highway 36: Exit the highway on Table Mesa Drive, south of Boulder. Turn west and follow Table Mesa Drive approximately 3.5 miles to the NCAR facility.
