General Description

This is part of the Lake Tahoe Complex.

Bears frequent this campground. Visitors must obey bear area rules including food storage and site visitor capacity. There is a store on site.

Reservations must be made at least 1 day in advance. No All-Terrain or Off-Road Vehicles allowed. Single site fee includes entry for 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle. A fee of $5 for extra vehicles will be collected at the campground. Extra vehicles must park in the space provided or be parked at another approved location. This is a non-site specific campground. You will not be assigned a specific site when you make a reservation. You will be assigned a specific site when you arrive at the campground. Bears are frequent in this campground. Visitors must obey bear area rule including food storage and site visitor capacity.

Directions: From South Lake Tahoe: Highway 89 North from junction of State Highway 50 and 89, 3 miles to Fallen Leaf Road, West 1/2 mile of Fallen Leaf Road to the campground.
