General Description

Two caves lie along Bear Gulch less than a mile south of Bear Gulch Visitor Center. Not surprisingly, they are titled Bear Gulch Caves. These caves can be accessed via Moses Spring Trail in the eastern district of the monument. They can be explored without a guide, but flashlights are required. Visitors should beware of low ceilings, drops and slippery rocks within the caves.

Directions from Bear Gulch Visitor Center: Follow Moses Spring Trail southward .6 miles to the caves.

Normally Open: Year-round .
