The Bear Gulch Visitor Center lies in the eastern district of the park and is the only visitor center in the monument. Exhibits include information about the geology and designation of the monument, as well as descriptions of flora and fauna found in the area. A book store provides maps and books on the region, and park rangers are on site to provide further information. The visitor center is a wheelchair accessible facility. Picnicking facilities are also available on site.
Directions from Highway 25: Turn southward on Highway 146 and travel a few miles to the park entrance. Follow the park road to a fork, where you will bear left to reach the visitor center.
