Cordoniz Campground is located at Eastman Lake in the Sierra Nevada foothills about an hour drive north of Fresno, CA. Tall grasses and scattered oak trees cover the rolling hills surrounding the lake. Wildlife is abundant. Local residents include bobcats, golden eagles, mountain lions, hawks, wood ducks, deer, snakes, and bald eagles. Eastman is a designated trophy bass lake. Equestrian site and non-profit organizations may also reserve the primitive campground by calling the park.
Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. The campground is open year round. Individual sites are $14-$20/night and group sites range $25-$75/night. For more information, please call (559) 689-3255. Nearest store and gasoline are 20 miles away.
Directions: Cordoniz is 30 miles northeast of Madera, 25 miles east of Chowchilla, and 50 miles north of Fresno. From Highway 99, travel east on Avenue 26 then north on Rd 29. Follow signs into the campground.
