Tuttle Creek Lake is a 12,500 acre reservoir located in the northern Flint Hills of Kansas, in the heart of the tallgrass prairie. Stockdale Park is located on Mill Cove on the west side of the lake, 5 river miles above Tuttle Creek Dam. It features a developed campground, a random It features a developed campground, a random camping area with a shelter, a large boat ramp, a shower building, and a dump station. The Country Stampede occurs in nearby River Pond State Park the third week of June.

Stockdale Campground is open year round. Fees are collected from April 15-September 30, and range from $6 in the random camping area, to $10 in the developed area. There is no (electricity/water/sewer) site hook-ups at this campground. The developed area has 12 campsites, 3 of which are pull-through sites. Vehicle lengths vary from 27 feet to 90 feet. Of the 12 sites, 10 are reservable.
Directions: From Manhattan, KS: Travel north 12 miles on US 24 (Tuttle Creek Blvd.). Turn right on Riley CR 895 and go 1.5 miles. Turn right on Riley CR 396 and go 2 miles to park entrance.
