Cottonwood Point Campground is located on Marion Reservoir. If you enjoy camping, boating, fishing, hunting, or wildlife watching - we have the place for you. Marion Reservoir is located just north of U.S. Highway 56 between the communities of Marion and Hillsboro. Camping and picnicking opportunities are numerous. Facilities at Cottonwood Point include tables, grills, sun shelters, electrical hookups, showers, RV dump stations, group camping areas, playgrounds, and beaches. A special treat for wildlife observers is the Willow Walk Nature Trail. All the parks have potable water. Anglers have bright opportunities as channel catfish, walleye, white bass and wipers are the most popular catches of the day. The campground offers 94 individual sites, group camping and group day use shelters.

This campground requires a 3 night minimum stay on holidays. * All pets must be leashed or caged. No firearms, fireworks, or unregistered vehicles allowed, including ATVs and golf carts. Boat Dock at Cottonwood is not handicap accessible.
Directions: Cottonwood Point Campground is 4 miles northwest of Marion, KS, off Hwy 56. Turn north on Old Mill Road and go 2.8 miles north. Follow signs.
