Description - Lake Greeson, the Little Missouri River and Daisy State Park make a winning combination in the Ouachita foothills. Delighting water enthusiasts, Lake Greeson offers 7,000 acres of clear water and mountain scenery.

Attractions - Black and white bass, stripers, crappie, catfish and bluegill account for the lake's popularity with anglers. The Little Missouri joins four other popular float streams that offer challenging spring and early summer trout fishing.

Facilities include 117 campsites, picnic areas, a screened standard pavilion with restrooms, playground, launch ramps, hiking trails and a motorcycle/mountain bike trail.

Recreation - On Lake Greeson, Daisy State Park offers a base camp for enjoying many outdoor recreational opportunities. Plenty of boating and fishing opportunities abound. Visitors will enjoy camping, picnicking, hiking, and mountain biking activities.

Climate - Arkansas has a temperate climate with the coldest temperatures near freezing during December, January and February. Daytime highs for these months usually reach 55 degrees F. Spring and fall temperatures are very mild with lows dipping to 44 degrees F and highs reaching 70 degrees F. July and August are the hottest months of the year with average temperatures reaching 90 degrees F. June and September average temperatures usually reach into the mid-eighties. Spring and winter months are the wettest of the year.

Location - Daisy State Park is located in the Ouachita Mountains Region in southwestern Arkansas. The park is found 1/4 mile south of Daisy off U.S. 70.

Report: Beautiful park and the bath house were always very clean. Campers at this park are very friendly and make you feel welcomed.We are yearly visitors to this beautiful park since 1998.Planning our next visit for this month! Mrs Garza

Report: Excellent vacation spot! The water is perfect for boating and swimming and there's even a swimming ramp at the park. We've been going there since 1980, and we love it!
