General Information

Description - Bartlett Lake is the closest lake to the Phoenix area on the Verde River. It is 22 miles east of Carefree. Upper Bartlett Lake, Rattlesnake and South Cove recreation sites provide areas for camping with trailers, picnicking, fishing and boating and are open year-round. The Jojoba Boating Site provides a paved launching ramp, except during low water levels. A new marina facility, which provides a variety of services, is available. Fishing at Bartlett can produce largemouth and smallmouth bass, bluegill, catfish and crappie. The road to Bartlett is paved.

Recreation - Recreational activities include fishing, boating and camping.

Climate - Temperatures range from lows near 25 degrees F. in the months of December and January to highs that may exceed 115 degrees F. from July through September. Precipitation generally ranges from 2 to 8 inches per year.

Report: Want to know if there is a place in the park to fill up motorhome with fresh water? Love coming to Bartlett. Its beautiful. This will be the first time we're bringing our motorhome.

Report: umm well frist id like 2 say if u liek 2 fish and have no boat dont go here in the day for the speed boats and jet skiers make it inpoosbly 2 fish with moutain size waves everywhere but ive cought a ton of fish here would be the number one lake if everone would just leave it for me 2 fish but owell have 2 share ir your one of the jerks who speed your boat around heres a go to hell from me and i have a boat anyways id say this is my second favort fishing hole and note i go 1 two 2 times a week so there u go

Report: The mountain scenery is awesome. But the park seems a little lax on the litter. Be sure and bring an empty trash bag as it will be full if you decide to pick up someone else's trash.
