General Information

Description - The rolling "Welsh Hills" frame this suprisingly varied rural treasure: Amish have recently migrated here; Daniel Boone hunted and trapped in this area's Raccoon Creek; and Gallipolis, also known as the "City of Gauls," bears the vestiges of French culture in its historic district.

Attractions - The Welsh Scenic Byway is known for it's Archeology, Cultural, Historical, Natural, Recreational and Scenic Attractions.

Directions from : This byway goes through Gallia and Jackson Counties. It is composed of routes US 35, SR 325, and SR 233, and goes through the cities of Rio Grande and Jackson.
