Description - This byway provides excellent opportunities to view wildlife in a natural setting including nesting and brood-rearing waterfowl, raptors and other migratory birds. Deer, wild turkeys, and other wildlife are frequently seen along the 19-mile route.
- The Des Lacs National Wildlife Refuge Backway is known for it's Natural and Recreational Attractions.
Directions from : This backway is located in the northwestern part of the state. It begins at US Highway 52, six miles south of Kenmare, and ends at Ward County Road 1.
