General Information

Description - Cutting through the red rock gorge of the Colorado River, this route offers a panoramic view of the LaSal Mountains, whose snow-capped peaks rise in vivid contrast to the red rock sandstone typical of this canyon country.

Attractions - The Colorado River Scenic Byway (U-128) is known for it's Archeology, Cultural, Historical, Natural, Recreational and Scenic Attractions.

Directions from : From I-70, take the 202 or 212 Exits south to Hwy 128 (past Cisco, Utah.) From Moab, take Hwy 128 northeast (the turnoff to the right before you cross the Colorado River.)
