Description - As you climb steeply from Cedar City through narrow Cedar Canyon and into the Dixie National Forest, you will often catch glimpses of Cedar Breaks National Monument ahead through breaks in the dense aspen, pine and spruce forest.

- The Markaguant Scenic Byway (U-14) is known for it's Cultural, Historical, Natural, Recreational and Scenic Attractions.
Directions from : Starting from the west end of the byway at Cedar City, take SR-14 east to the junction with US 89.
Starting from the east end of the byway at the junction with U-89, take SR-14 west to Cedar City.
