Directions from : The highway can be accessed from various locations: From Las Vegas take US 95 north and meet up with Highway 50 in Fallon. From Carson City access the highway by taking US 395 south to Highway 50 East. At the Junction of Highway 50 and Alt. Highway 50 one can go west to Fernley or east to Fallon. From Reno take I-80 East to Alt. Highway 50 in Fernley. Once on the highway, follow it east or west, depending on which end you start from.
