Description - This route takes you through Kentucky's Blue-grass region. It follows what was first a buffalo trace, and then an 1800's Shaker road. The road follows rolling hills, and scenic pastures highlighted by miles and miles of black and white planked fences, horse barns that look like mansions, and tobacco fields. Another notable feature of the area are the limestone rock fences built by Irish stone masons in the mid 1800's.
- The US 68 Scenic Byway is known for it's Cultural, Historical and Scenic Attractions.
