General Information

Description - The byway begins at Columbus, home of famous playwright Tennessee Williams. Take Hwy 45 to Tupelo and the Elvis Presley Birthplace Center, with a museum and chapel. Your destination may be Memphis and Graceland, but stop along Hwy. 78 and tour the Delta Blues Archive on the campus of the University of Mississippi in Oxford. While there, tour Rowan Oak, the home of William Faulkner. On Hwy 78 between Oxford and Memphis lies Holly Springs, a picturesque town of white-columned mansions, and home of Graceland Too, a unique Elvis Presley archive containing information and memorabilia that you've probably never seen before.

Attractions - The Rock & Roll Highway is known for it's Cultural, Historical, Natural, Recreational and Scenic Attractions.

Directions from : From Memphis, take Highway 78 southeast through Mississippi. The road passes through Tupelo.
