General Information

Description - The atmosphere of June Lake's old-world village, nestled in a sheltered canyon, will appeal to those wishing to get away from it all and simply relax. The slower pace and tranquil surroundings will let you escape and enjoy a memorable vacation in this spectacular area.

Attractions - Plenty of winter activities ensure a winter vacation that your whole group can enjoy, even if some members don't ski.

The Children's Sports School for ages 3-12 is relaxed, offering enthusiastic instructors and positive learning techniques. Small World Child Care is available for little ones, newborn to six years.

Recreation - In addition to skiing and snowboarding, June Mountain offer opportunities to explore the limitless countryside on cross-country skis, or even take an exhilarating ride down the mountainside on a sled or tobaggan.

Climate - June Mountain averages 300 sunny days per year. Due to its unique location in the Sierra, June Mountain also receives an average of 250 inches of snow annually. Fast moving storms allow the area to enjoy the best of both worlds: snow and sunshine.

Location - June Mountain is about 20 miles north of Mammoth Lakes in the Sierra Nevada. From US 395, take Highway 158 west at the June Lake Junction, drive through June Lake Village approximately four miles to June Mountain Ski Area.
