General Information

Description - Snow Valley offers terrain for every level of skiing and snowboarding. Snow Valley is one of Southern California's best beginner ski and board resorts.

Attractions - Schighridj, Snow Valley's terrain park offers 1.25 vertical mile of fun for almost every level of skier or rider. Utilizing the natural terrain of the mountain, there are hills, spines, tabletops, and banks enough to make every run a unique experience. Snow Valley also offers in-line and board Summer Skate Camps for kids from ages 10 and up.

Recreation - Snow Valley offers opportunities for skiing and snowboarding in the winter months. In the summer, Snow Valley offers in-line and board Summer Skate Camps for kids.

Climate - Climate in this region varies greatly with elevation. Temperatures can be 70 degrees in Los Angeles while only 40 degrees at Big Bear Lake. It can snow almost any month of the year in the highest elevations. Heavy snow is possible in the high elevations during the winter months. Most of the precipitation comes between November and April so summers tend to be dry. Summer temperatures are normally warm to hot at the low elevations and more moderate at the higher elevations. Nighttime temperatures can be cool in the mountains, even during the summer months.

Location - Snow Valley is located in the Lake Arrowhead region of Southern California.
