Report: My family and I camped here last summer. We absolutely loved it! We came with another family and stayed for an extended weekend. From beginning to end the whole trip was awesome! The campsites overall were large and the beach was just a short walk away. Our kids loved hanging out in front of the campstore in the afternoon eating ice cream and sitting at the picnic tables. It was nice to have a store at the campground because the drive into town is pretty far plus the store had everything we needed. The owner of the store was really friendly and super helpful too. He was even nice enough to come over with one of his employees to help us fix a problem with our tent. I would definately recommend this campsite to others without hesitation. Just remember to bring quarters for the showers!

Report: Location... that's the only upside of this campground. The crowd is mostly your snobby socal types who are not friendly or helpful. Dogs are allowed in the campground but NOT on the beach. Might as well not allow them period. The beach store is owned/run by a not so friendly indvidual who knows ZERO about customer service because he knows he's the only game for a few miles. I chose to drive into Malibu and visit their grocery store instead. I won't even go into how the reservations were screwed up and caused a visit at night by the ranger and a disappointed father and daughter who really wanted the spot we were put in. Ranger's were the nicest folks there... unfortunately, they were way outnumbered by the other side. FYI - this was my 3rd time staying there but my first that I planned and first/last time I attempt to use the Beach Store. Go elseware!

Report: I love this beach! It's the best I loved thinking that Jesse McCartney and the summerland crew has been here!
