Description - This Park takes its name from Mistletoe Junction, a local area where people used to gather mistletoe during the holidays. Located on Clark's Hill Lake near Augusta, this park is known as one of the finest bass fishing areas in the nation. During the summer, guests can cool down at the swimming beach. or on eight miles of shaded nature trails. Canoes and boats can be rented. The park has ten fully equipped cottages on Clarks Hill Lake. The campground is situated on an small peninsula, offering spectacular views of both sunrise and sunset over the water.

This park is in the piedmont region of Georgia.

Recreation - The park is equipped with 3 boat ramps, a swimming beach, 2 nature trails, a 12 mile hiking trail, a campground, 4 picnic shelters, and cottage and boat rentals. These amenities provide an array of recreation opportunities.

Climate - Georgia generally experiences mild, comfortable winters and warm to hot, humid summers. The area can offer a relatively warm escape for snow-free outdoor recreation during the winter months. Be prepared for occasional cold weather during the winter, especially at the higher elevations in northern Georgia.

Location - Located off Georgia Hwy. 150, 7.9 miles north of I-20 exit #60.

Report: In May of 2003, I took my family to the park for the weekend. Everything was very well maintained,the sights were wonderful, and the people who worked there were very friendly and helpful.

Report: We have camped at Mistletoe several times. The campsites are great, and the bathhouses are super nice. Its a great place to camp. Only drawback is the check-in people are extremely rude!

Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites - There are 54 State Parks in Georgia, located throughout the state. The northern part of the state has the most parks with a high concentration along the coast as well.
Georgia's Lakes and Reservoirs - Georgia's Lakes and Reservoirs range from huge reservoirs covering several thousand acres, to small lakes tucked away in the Georgia countryside.
Piedmont Region - This area is located in the north-central part of the state and is bisected by I-20, which passes through Atlanta and on to Augusta.
