Description
- Nestled in the rolling hills of Georgia's upper piedmont, this park has facilities ranging from picnic sites and a swimming pool to a nine-hole golf course and campground. A beautiful stream flows through the park, providing the perfect setting for an after-picnic stroll. Hikers can follow either the short nature trail or the longer perimeter trail that winds through hardwoods. Animal lovers should keep an eye out for wildlife while passing food plots along the perimeter trail. This park is in the highlands region of Georgia.
Recreation - Amenities at the park include 25 developed campsites, primitive camping, 3 playgrounds swimming pool, 6 picnic shelters 2 stocked fishing ponds, a multi-use trail, and a 9 hole golf course. The park's golf course features unlimited weekday play and senior citizen discounts. Climate - Georgia generally experiences mild, comfortable winters and warm to hot, humid summers.
