This National Historic Landmark is 179 acres of rolling fields, woodland and wetland and was the location of the experimental society of Transcendentalists who lived on the farm in the 1840's.

Climate - Boston experiences a continental climate that is very common in New England, but with distinct maritime influences due to its position on the Atlantic Ocean. Summers are typically hot and humid, while winters are cold, windy and snowy.
The farm is located 1/3 mile west of the VFW Parkway on Baker Street in West Roxbury.
