Report: The Toughest part about Mackworth Island was having time to go around only once. The walk was pleasant and easy for juvenilles to golden agers. The biggest reward - there are three 1) the beautiful views, 2) Govenor Baxter's corral, 3) building a fairy hide-a-way. There are ample places for a nice picnic lunch. There is a scattering of benches here and there. Do stop and see a tree knot, from the inside out!
