Lake St. George State Park
Description - Lake St. George State Park offers 360 acres for year-round recreation. Most activities are centered around the lake. The park has a guarded swimming area and a bathhouse. Visitors enjoy camping with flush toilets and hot showers. Hiking around the lake or fishing in the lake are popular sports. Small boat and canoe rentals are available during the warmer months. Snowmobiling is enjoyed during the colder snowy months. Several trail clubs help maintain the snowmobile routes.

Attractions - Lake St. George State Park offers 360 acres for recreation. Visitors enjoy a guarded swimming area, a bathhouse, 38 camping sites, flush toilets, hot showers, hiking, fishing, boating and canoeing. A snowmobile trail is maintained from the park to Frye Mountain Game management area and connects to several local club trails.

Recreation - Lake St. George State Park offers 38 RV sites, several are shaded, 18 pull-thrus. The visitor may stay 14 days to enjoy the freshwater fishing, swimming, boating and playground facilities. A boat launch is available at this beautiful and quiet northern lake.

Climate - The summer vacation haven of Mid Coast Maine sees winter temperatures averaging above 18 degrees Fahrenheit (below -12 Celsius) and average summer temperatures above 68 degrees Fahrenheit (20 Celsius). The Mid Coast Region receives on the average less than 38 inches (97 centimeters) of precipitation each year.

Location - Lake St. George State Park is located in Liberty, 27 miles east of August and 17 miles west of Belfast on Route 3.
