Description - Clarkco State Park is situated on 65-acre Clarkco Lake. The park is an excellent facility for hosting groups. Visitors will find picnicking, hiking and camping activities.

- Clarkco State Park is situated on 65-acre Clarkco Lake. The park is an excellent facility for hosting groups. The park's amenities include marked nature trails, lighted tennis courts, and a camp store. Also available are large picnic pavilions, a visitor's center and meeting rooms. Visitors can choose from campsites and cabins for their overnight accommodations. Clarkco has 43 improved and 15 primitive camping pads and 20 cabins with individual piers.
Recreation - Visitors will find a variety of interesting activities in this park; such as picnicking, hiking and camping.
Climate - Mississippi generally has a temperate climate, with cool winters and warm, humid summers. Freezing temperatures are possible in the winter. Thunderstorms and are possible throughout the year but most common in the spring and summer. Tropical storms occasionally strike the coast during the hurricane season.
Clarkco State Park is located 20 miles south of Meridian off U. S. 45.
