Description - Maynor Creek Water Park is located west of Waynesboro, Mississippi. The park includes a 450 acre lake and the challenging waters of Maynor Creek.

- The park includes a 450 acre lake with excellent Florida bass fishing. The challenging waters of Maynor Creek flow clear and bright in the summer and fall, and full and brown in the winter and spring. The park includes a developed campground and family picnic pavilions are also available. Maynor Creek Park has three cabins and two camp houses for rental. The park is open year-round. Please note that Maynor Creek Park is no longer associated in any way with Swampy Hollow.
Recreation - Camping, cabin stays, fishing, hikin, boating, swimming, water skiing and picnicking are all part of the family fun at Maynor Creek. Climate - Mississippi lies mainly in the subtropics. The climate is mild with the coldest months experiencing low temperatures near 40 degrees F. Summer temperatures frequently reach 100 degrees F, with coastal breezes providing cooling relief. Humidity is highest in August and September reaching an average close to 90%. The highest rainfall comes during the spring months, but December and January are wet, too. Expect temperatures in the northeastern region to be somewhat cooler than the rest of the state. Location -
