General Information

Description - Conesus Lake Public Boat Launch is located on East Lake Road (near MacPherson Point), 4 miles south of SR 20A. Hard surface launch ramp; parking for 45 cars with trailers. Pontoons, ski boats, fishing boats, canoes, paddleboats and personal watercraft use this launch site.

Attractions - Conesus Lake is the most westerly of the 11 Finger Lakes. It is a source of recreation and drinking water for nearby towns. The elevation of the lake is 818 feet and covers an area of 3,420 acres stretching 8 miles long and 1 mile wide. The deepest point in the lake is 66 feet. Pontoon boats, ski boats, fishing boats, paddleboats and personal watercraft use this launching site that is a hard surface ramp with parking for 45 cars with trailers. Anglers enjoy catching walleye, tiger muskies, northern pike, bluegill and sunfish.

Recreation - Conesus Lake Boat Launch offers visitors a chance to access Conesus Lake. The small parcel of state-owned land offers restrooms and picnic tables in addition to the launch.

Climate - The Conesus Lake area experiences average January temperatures above 22 degrees Fahrenheit (above -6 degrees Celsius). It is important to note that this area receives some of the heaviest snowfalls in the nation. Summer temperatures average around 72 degrees Fahrenheit (around 22 degrees Celsius). Precipitation in the region averages less than 36 inches of rain and snowmelt.

Location - Conesus Lake Boat Launch is located on the east side of the lake, west of SR 15, near MacPherson Point, 4 miles south of SR 20A.
