General Information

Description - Bonavista State Park Golf Course is a 9-hole course with an 18-hole round option. The beautiful rolling fairways overlook the lovely Seneca Lake, giving this course its name. The park offers a clubhouse, power carts, pro shop, club rentals and driving range.

Attractions - Nestled above the shore overlooking Seneca Lake, this park derived its name from the amazing lake view visible from the golf course. This course is a 9-hole course with an 18-hole round option. Total yardage at the course is 3,332 with a 36 par. Amenities include a clubhouse, snack bar, pro shop, club rentals and power carts.

Recreation - From April to November, Bonavista State Park Golf Course offers a clubhouse, power carts, pro shop, club rentals, driving range, snack bar and picnic area. The signature golf hole is the 2nd hole, par 5 - 494 yards with a beautiful view of Seneca Lake. Motorized cart fee for 9 holes is $10 and for 18 holes, $20. The green fees for 18 holes during the weekday run $15 and on weekends $18.

Climate - The Bonavista State Park area experiences average January temperatures above 22 degrees Fahrenheit (above -6 degrees Celsius). It is important to note that this area receives some of the heaviest snowfalls in the nation. Summer temperatures average around 72 degrees Fahrenheit (around 22 degrees Celsius). Precipitation in the region ranges from less than 36 inches to approximately 40 inches of rain and snowmelt.

Location - Located just east of Seneca Lake, Bonavista State Park Golf Course is located along SR 132 south of SR 96A.
