Bowman Lake State Park
- Bowman Lake State Park rests in the Central Travel Region on the shores of Bowman Lake. A sandy beach and woodland hikes attract thousands to this camper's paradise. Many visitors are drawn to this park for the trout-stocked waters, the bird watching opportunities, the self-guided nature trail, beautiful scenery and winter sporting opportunities.
Recreation - Bird watching, hiking, cross-country skiing, trout fishing, swimming, picnicking, camping and enjoying the beautiful scenery are all enjoyed at Bowman Lake State Park. Boat rental available.
Climate - The Bowman Lake State Park area experiences average January temperatures from 18 degrees to above 22 degrees Fahrenheit (-8 to above -6 degrees Celsius). It is important to note that this area receives some of the heaviest snowfalls in the nation. Summer temperatures average around 72 degrees Fahrenheit (around 22 degrees Celsius). Precipitation in the region ranges from 36 inches to more than 44 inches of rain and snowmelt. The heaviest precipitation is received in the region's northeast segment.
