Description - Dewolf Point State Park is located off US 81, 2 miles north of Alexandria Bay on Wellesley Island. Cabins, campground, boating and excellent fishing waters attract thousands of visitors each year.

Dewolf Point State Park
- Located on the Lake of the Isles in the St. Lawrence River, Dewolf Point State Park has cabin and camping areas, turn-of-the-century gazebo and dockage for boats. Anglers are drawn to the excellent fishing waters and relaxing park environment.
Recreation - Dewolf Point State Park offers excellent fishing, a boat launch site, dockage, power boating, cabins and campground with showers. The cabins and campground are handicapped accessible. The park is open from the end of April through mid-September.
Climate - The Dewolf Point State Park area has a varied climate with average January temperatures ranging from below 14 degrees reaching to 22 degrees Fahrenheit (below -10 to -6 degrees Celsius). Summer temperatures average between 72 degrees and below 68 degrees Fahrenheit (22 to below 20 degrees Celsius). Precipitation in the region ranges from less than 36 to 40 inches of rain and snowmelt.
