Report: This park is currently my second favorite place in New York City. Quiet, peaceful, unbelievable view of downtown Manhattan, close to a lot of new cafes and shops. Incredible how only a few people know about it. I was there before and after 9/11, very sad that the view's not as impressive as it used to be.

Report: The toughest part of the trip was locating the park. The directions 'under the Brooklyn Bridge' are not enough. Many of the streets leading to the 'park' are dead ends or one way. We saw no New Dock Street. Specific right or left turn information is needed along with the names of the streets to take to reach the park.
