Description - Hunt's Pond State Park is located in the Central Travel Region several miles off SR 8. The woodland park sits on the tiny Hunt Pond which offers a boat launch and several primitive campsites. Several more developed state parks are a short drive away as well as several golf courses. Hunt's Pond attracts hunters to its land.

Precipitation in the region ranges from 36 inches to more than 44 inches of rain and snowmelt. The heaviest precipitation is received in the region's northeast segment.
