Description - Prompton State Park is the site of a future state park. The Army Corps of Engineers is still developing the area. They plan on having many of the common park facilities at this location including trails, picnicking, hunting, viewing scenery and observing wildlife. The park will be a year-round facility offering winter sporting activities.

Recreation - As of this writing, Spring 2000, the Army Corps of Engineers is still developing this park. Once it is open to the public, it will have recreation opportunities.
