Description - Like an oasis on the prairie, this area has a 25-acre lake which is surrounded by trees. Whether boating, sailing or canoeing, visitors will enjoy this lake that averages only eight feet in depth. Native and introduced prairie grasses and wildflowers abound in the 206-acre park, and wildlife of all kinds inhabit this unique area.
- The 25-acre lake is known for its panfishing. Also expect to snag some Northern pike, largemouth bass, perch, bluegill and bullheads. A wheelchair accessible fishing dock allows access for everybody.
Recreation - Camping & Fees: $6/site. 16 sites, all non-electrical. No showers or water. Vault toilets.
A 3/4-mile hiking trail on west side of lake. Trail great for bird watching. Two picnic areas. Two picnic shelters.
Fishing/Boating: Single lane boat ramp. Wheelchair accessible fishing dock. Northern pike, largemouth bass, perch, bluegill and bullheads.
