Report: I would recommend Sutton Lake to anyone.Since I was a little girl we would visit my family in WV and go camping every summer until the age of 20. It is a very beautiful river and Bakers Run was always a nice family campground. I learned to ski and fish at Sutton. I know my family has talked about returning next year and hopefully I can start a tradition with my own kids like my grandfather did with his family.

Report: Sutton lake is a wonderful lake...although I don't fish much, I have heard they've been catching several...I prefer skiing, tubing and just floating around all day...watch out after heavy rains...the Elk River, which flows into Sutton Lake can bombard the lake with floating obstacles...such as tree limbs, bottles, and general trash and other water hazards...other than that, just get out there and enjoy...the lake is rarely 'choppy' and is a woderful spot to learn to waterski, for example...
