Gunlock State Park
Description - The Utah State Park system consists of 27 recreation parks, ten heritage parks and eight scenic parks. Recreation parks focus upon the state's lakes and reservoirs; heritage parks highlight historic sites used by native people and European descendants; and scenic parks protect the unique landscapes of the state. These properties highlight sites of significance in the evolution of the state naturally, economically and politically.

Attractions - The facilities at Utah's State Parks vary from site to site. In general, visitors can expect campgrounds, picnic grounds and boat ramps at the recreational sites, museums and educational exhibits and programs at heritage sites and trails and scenic byways at the scenic parks. Go to the individual park description for specific facility descriptions.

Recreation - Each park offers a variety of recreation opportunities. See individual park descriptions for specific recreation information.

Climate - Weather conditions and climate vary greatly throughout the diverse landscapes of this state. Check with the State Police or individual park authorities for current conditions.
