General Information

Description - Minersville State Park lies in southwestern Utah near the community of Beaver. The developed areas of the park are oriented around 1,130-acre reservoir. The park provides access to the lake via boat ramps and beaches. The facilities are open year-round with limited services in the winter. Bureau of Land Management administers the surrounding public lands, which provide further recreational pursuits.

Attractions - Facilities at Minersville State Park include boat docks, a launching ramp, drinking water, a picnic ground and fish cleaning stations. The 29-site campground provides campers with electric hookups, modern rest rooms, hot showers and sewage disposal.

Recreation - Visitors will enjoy opportunities for fishing and camping (year-round), as well as picnicking, boating and swimming.

Climate - Minersville State Park lies in southwestern Utah at an elevation of 5,500 feet. The climate is arid with less than 15 inches of precipitation per year. Summer days are usually hot with temperatures reaching 90 degrees F and nights cooling to 60 degrees F. Winter can be very cold and snowfall does occur. Expect daytime highs to reach 50 degrees F and nighttime temperatures to drop below freezing.

Location - The park is located 12 miles west of Beaver along Utah State Road 21.
