General Information

Description - Otter Creek State Park lies in south central Utah between the Dixie and Fishlake National Forests. The focal point of this park is 3,120-acre Otter Creek Reservoir, which provides boating, fishing and swimming opportunities. Developed sites within the park include a campground, picnic ground and visitor center.

Attractions - Within Otter Creek State Park there are two developed sites: a campground and picnic ground. The campground consists of 30 units with modern rest rooms, hot showers and sewage disposal stations. Other facilities in the park include a boat launching ramp, courtesy docks and fish cleaning stations.

Recreation - Visitors to Otter Creek State Park can pursue a variety of recreational activities: boating, swimming and picnicking, are popular during warm-weather. Camping and fishing opportunities are available year-round, although the campground will have limited services in winter. Ice skating is a popular winter activity at Otter Creek Reservoir.

Climate - This region of Utah, like most others, is arid, receiving approximately 12 inches of rain per year. The fall and spring are the most pleasant times to visit Otter Creek State Park, and also the most crowded, with warm days and cool nights. Summer brings very hot days and visitors are encouraged to curb rigorous activities during the afternoons. In winter expect warm days and very cold nights.

Location - The park is four miles northwest of Antimony on Utah State Road 22.
