Amenities at this former seminary site include a seminary building with a kitchen, dining hall, classrooms, dormitory rooms, laundry and chapel, a gymnasium with a stage, an indoor 25-yard heated swimming pool, two tennis courts, six handball courts, a 4-acre athletic field and 55 picnic sites. In addition, there are parking facilities for 97 cars, eight miles of hiking trails and a one-mile equestrian trail in the Holmes Point area.

Recreation - Picnicking, hiking, soccer, fishing, tennis, handball, mountain bicycling, swimming, racquetball, bird watching, and softball are some of the activities enjoyed in the park.

Climate - The low rolling hills and sheltered inland salt water that make up the Puget Sound basin produce a mild, marine climate characterized by wintertime clouds, rain, and sometimes a light snow, but lots of summertime sunshine.

Maximum winter temperatures are in the mid- to high 40s with minimum temperatures in the mid 30s. Summers are warm with maximum and minimum temperatures in the mid 70s and low 50s, respectively. This area averages 51 inches of precipitation per year.

Location - Saint Edward State Park is located on the northeast shore of Lake Washington, approximately four miles southwest of Bothell, on Juanita Drive in King County.

Report: This is by far one of the prettiest parks that I have been to. Being a history buff, I especially enjoyed seeing the old seminary building and grounds, it was tough however not being able to explore the insides of the building as well. I'd recomend to whoever goes to Saint Edwards to pack a lunch and make a day of it because it is a big park that you will want to spend some time exploreing. Also wear good shoes because the trail to the water front is steep. About a 20 minute walk with childern.
