Report: Rifle Gap has added electric RV sites in the Cottonwood Campground. They've also added a shower building. I talked with a ranger and he told me they were also adding 40 some electric sites on a hill above the lake for next year. I like to tent camp and was also excited to hear about tent only camping planned for the future.

Report: Took a trip to Rifle Gap yesterday (4/14/04)and found the water level down about 20 - 30 ft. from full pool. The water is still accessible at the boat ramp. Fishing was slow, but probably due to a cold front that came through.
