Located adjacent to Table Rock Lake and near Branson, Mo., one of the hottest tourism spots in the United States, Table Rock State Park offers easy lake access and is a short drive to area attractions and entertainment.
The public marina is equipped and ready to outfit the visitor eager to explore the lake. Boat rentals, including personal watercrafts such as WaveRunners, pontoon boats, ski boats and fishing boats, are available, and all the supplies needed for the trip are stocked. Those seeking a bit more adventure can check out the scuba dive shop, try a para-sailing ride or take an excursion on a 48-foot catamaran.
Located among oak and hickory trees, two camping areas wind along the shoreline allowing easy access to the lake. The shady campgrounds include basic, electric only and sewer/water/electric campsites, modern restrooms, showers and coin-operated laundry rooms. Scattered near the lakeshore are numerous picnic sites. An open picnic shelter, perfect for family reunions and get-togethers, can be reserved by contacting the park office. Although there is not a designated beach, visitors can swim in several areas of the park.
Table Rock State Park is a great base camp for all that Table Rock Lake and Branson have to offer.

Table Rock State Park Campground Information
Table Rock State Park has two campgrounds offering basic, electric and sewer/electric/water campsites. Services include reservable campsites, a dump station, showers and water. On-season camping for Table Rock State Park runs from March through November.
From December through February, one showerhouse remains open in Campground 1 and one restroom in Campground 2.
For reservations, there is a required two-night minimum stay for weekends from April through October and major holidays from May 15 through Sept. 15.
Park Gate Information
Park gates close at 10 p.m. Campers need to be sure to arrive prior to gate closure time.
Recreation - Fishing
Table Rock Lake is one of Missouri's premier fishing destinations and can be accessed via the paved boat ramps near the park entrance. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including bass, crappie and other warm-water species. Fishing is allowed 24 hours a day with the exception of in the day-use area, which is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Table Rock State Park allows you to launch your boat onto the lake. There are no fees, and all of the surfaces are concrete or asphalt. There is a boat ramp located near the open picnic shelter and park office. There are Missouri State Water Patrol regulations that watercraft riders and boaters must follow.
The clarity of the water makes Table Rock Lake a popular place for scuba diving. Diving equipment can be rented or purchased at the marina and beginning and advanced scuba courses are offered.
Regularly scheduled evening programs are held at the amphitheater Memorial Day through Labor Day. A seasonal naturalist provides programs concerning plants, animals, eco-systems and nature hikes. Check the park bulletin boards or contact the park naturalist for detailed information at (417) 334-4704. Also contact a park naturalist to arrange special group programs or to use any of the natural resource sites. Group programs should be scheduled at least three weeks in advance, although shorter notice may be possible depending on staffing and other scheduled programs.
There is an open picnic shelter, perfect for family reunions and get-togethers, which can be reserved for $50 by contacting the park office at (417) 334-4704. It is located across from the park office and can occupy up to 100 persons.
Picnic areas include tables, outdoor grills as well as restroom facilities and new playground equipment located nearby. Some facilities are offered on a seasonal basis only. There is no charge and individual picnic sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Water enthusiasts can enjoy the clear waters of the Table Rock Lake for swimming and other water activities. There is no designated swimming beach; however, several shoreline areas offer ample swimming opportunities. Swimming is not allowed near the marina or boat launch areas. Restroom facilities are available near the picnic area.
Climate - Missouri experiences four distinct seasons with an average yearly temperature of 54 degrees F. Summer temperatures reach 90 degrees F often and are plagued with high humidity levels. Nighttime lows during the summer dip slightly near 70 degrees. September brings cooler fall weather with less humidity. By October nights begin to cool significantly and the fall foliage changes to brilliant hues of orange, red and yellow. Winter months bring an average of 24 inches of snow and normal temperatures average between 20 and 45 degrees F. Spring is characterized by wet weather with temperatures reaching between 32 and 60 degrees F.
