The Chicago Lakes Trail #52, begins at the Echo Lake Campground, south of Idaho Springs, and leads to Chicago Lakes, in the Mount Evans Wilderness.
Devils Thumb Lake Trail Boulder Ranger District,
Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests
This trail follows an old road out of Hessie and provides access to Woodland Lake Trail, Jasper Lake, Devils thumb Lake and Devils Thumb Pass.
Diamond Lake Trail Boulder Ranger District,

This trail starts at the road closure at Buckingham Park and loops over a high ridge separating the North Fork Middle Boulder Creek/Jasper Creek drainage to reach Diamond Lake.

This trail originates out of the Hessie Townsite and follows the Devils Lake Trail for about 2.5 miles until you reach Woodland Lake Trail.
